Quentin is worth about $100 million in assets. This is a tough question because Quentin writes his movies, edits them, shoots them, produces them, and acts in them, along with a myriad of other jobs he does while filming. Many jobs he takes no salary for except probably SAG minimum to keep the suits off his back.
Tarantino is truly unique in the business. He only works on his passion projects and will do anything to get them shot even if he has to put up sums of his own money. Sure he wants them to be financially successful but in many films, he neglects to take a fee in order to use that money to attract huge stars like DiCaprio or Foxx or Pitt to star.
This is why compared to his huge box office receipts and success he is relatively “poor” compared to other directors. For these reasons, this is why I trust Tarantino to make a quality product. He’s in it for the films, not the financial returns.
